Social Gaming & Coconuts was built as a multi-season, weekly exclusive esports and gaming show for GINX Esports TV, broadcasted continent-wide on DStv. Anchored by revered comedians and filmed right here in Cape Town, the series was engineered to pull back the curtain on social and casual mobile gaming, giving a massive audience behind-the-scenes access to a rapidly growing culture.

For Season 2, Jamie Meyer directed the episodes and developed the animated opening titles, from concept and storyboards through design, direction and broadcast delivery.

The show’s run on local screens was followed by global distribution, with GINX selling Season 3 to Amazon Prime and Apple TV.
